Our Story

One of the leading Bengali cuisine restaurants, Saptapadi is often considered as the Seventh Heaven by the Bengali foodies as well as petuks. The kitchenette of Saptapadi confers hearty and tasty dishes providing stars to the batch of Rich Bengali culture and Nostalgia, set up once in evergreen Bengali film Saptapadi itself. Visiting Saptapadi once is to say too-da-loo to the tedium of dull grey life as here lies so many options that you will spoil for choice: None of those options get old though. When you start soaring with us must try our Avinovo Mangsho. Other worth-mentioning delicacies are Macher Jhuri, Fry Chili Morola, Avinobo Murgi, Ilisiher chawa, Lichu Lanka Sorbot, Bhapa Murgir Paturi, Posto Piyaji, Chingri Sabar Upore, Murgi Sabar Upore, Grilled Ilish, Koe Macher Paturi, Kancha Lanka Murgi, Nolen Gurer Caramel Custard, Nolen Gurer Brownie and many more. The journey started in 2011 when Chef Mr. Ranjan Biswas and Mr. Swarup Modal started the first outlet of Saptapadi at 51 Bidhan Sarani. After two years of growth, we set foot on G-40A, Baghajatin (Opp. Big Bazaar, and Ganguly Bagan P.O.) on 17 January 2014 maintaining the exact quality in food and consistent Innovation. The restaurant was thereby strong enough to spread its shadow on 49B Purna Das Road, Hindustan Park. Nevertheless, the Saltlake branch of Saptapadi has again had grand success. We are glad to express wholeheartedly that our wings are expanding day by day even beyond the territory of Bengal. We are reaching to you you in course of time.
